Erb Park Micro Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Miata: It's been a good run and our 25th anniversery has come and gone now. Too many muggles I guess! I found what was left of the container on the ground and hit by a lawn mower. [:(]

Thanks to all who have visited this cache! Now this half of the park is free to place another cache by someone else. [:D]

Geocache Description:

A "Classic" micro hide in a park near my childhood home. Bring a pencil!

This Appleton park is named after Herman Erb, Jr. Mayor of Appleton 1897-1899.

Appleton's first community swimming pool opened in Erb Park in 1941 and is where I met the love of my life (Mrs. Miata) on the afternoon of August 1, 1974! (Nixon was still President!)

The original pool, nicknamed "The Bird Bath" for it's bizarre round shape... was removed in the '80s and replaced with the modern pool to the South. I placed the micro sized container as close to the original spot that I met my wife as possible. (We celebrate our 25th wedding anniversery in May of 2006!)The pool was in the field just to the North West of the cache site.

Please be careful if muggles are present and be sure to conceal the container as well or better than you found it! Hint will make this a very easy find, even with snow present.
