Here Kitty Kitty Traditional Cache
J & K: They rebuilt the mound and we don't feel that the cache can be placed in the same area. We will resurrect the cache and place it elsewhere on campus. Thanks to all who searched for this cache. Hope you enjoyed it. J & K

This cache is located at Southwestern College in Winfield, KS
Southwestern College was established in 1885. The school offers bachelors and masters degrees in various academic disciplines. Southwestern has particularly strong programs in the sciences, business, education, and the performing arts. If you are interested, please stop by the nearby admission building for more information.
The school’s official nickname is the Moundbuilders, which originated in 1910 when the students wanted to be called something else other than “Preachers” or “Methodists.” Take a minute to read the history while searching for the cache.
Southwestern also claims as its mascot a black cat by the name of Jinx, a tradition which dates back to 1912 when a Southwestern student engraved a stone with a black cat and labeled it “Hoodoo.” The tombstone was thought to bring bad luck to all SC opponents (particularly rival Fairmount College, now Wichita State University). Images of the Jinx can be found all over the campus including one of a long line of live Jinxes in the athletic building. Be sure to stop by and say hi.
NO CLIMBING IS NECESSARY. We suggest that you hunt for this cache during daylight hours. There is security on campus and they might question your motives after dark. As always, watch for muggles. Please make sure to securely adhere the cache after logging. And, as always, with a microcache, bring your own pen.
