This cache is located off of a short wooded hiking trail in Lake Ridge Park. The trail is nestled between a tributary for the Occoquan Reservoir on one side and a miniature golf course on the other. The park offers short hiking/jogging trails, boating, fishing, a 9 hole golf course, and offers miniature golf. Recommend parking is at the end of the park road (38 41.765N 077 19.146W). After parking, back-track along the road a short distance and enter what appears to be a driveway on your right. Following the road will bring you to a park office building with restrooms, a few picnic tables, and by going around the front of the building the trailhead. The cache received its name from the old Woodbridge Airport (W22) which resided nearby and succumbed to development on 31 May 1987. In-fact, you actually pass by where the ramp and hanger area were when you pass the strip mall and during your drive to the park, pass over (at times) where runway 1/19 was located. The cache is an ammo can with the original contents being play dough, superballs, plastic creatures, Yahtzee, Lights-out, Monopoly, play ponies, marbles, and 4 children’s cartoon dvd movies.
