Geocache Description:

This cache is on the island of Kauai and is at the Waimea Canyon Lookout.

This cache is designed to be easy to find but still well hidden at the lookout. Waimea contains the mountain range that is the wettest spot on earth. That is one hint. Another is that the cache is located at the 12 o'clock position as you look at the tower. That is the second hint (you will be standing at the 6:00 position as you approach). It's in an ammo box. I left 2 luggage tags, and a deck of hawaii playing cards.

If you get a chance to hike the Nualolo trail it's beautiful with a fantastic overlook. The trail is 4 miles one way and is steep (about a ~1500 ft elevation loss/gain). There are great places for geocaches out there so go for it.

Small note on cache maintenance: I do visit Kauai 2-3 times per year and can maintain the site. I have also contacted another geocache owner who can help maintain it Thanks camnpete!
