This cross which is already visible from a distance, originally stood on the Hochvogel in the Allgäu Alps.
After a lightning strike the remains were replaced by members of the
Donauwörther Alpenvereines, brought here and set up.
A new summit cross is on top of this mountain.
With good far-sightedness you can see this alpine top from here.
