This cache is the first of series that will be hidden along the river portion of the 'Allegheny River walking trail'. It's main purpose is to encourage families with young GEO cachers to get out and get some exercise. I have picked this trail because it is a well maintained scenic trail that is accessible to a good portion of the Olean without necessarily needing a car. In fact the trail allows bicycles, and you should be able to ride your bike to within .10 miles of the cache. There should be no problem parking your bike 10 or 20 yards off the path it while you make your way to the cache. For those seeking a bit of challenge it should be a good night find. The trail itself is accessible at several different points including the path intersection at the end of Henley Street, Gargoyle Park, or Saint Bonaventure University.
Warning: Gargoyle Park holds several paid events on summer weekends so using this access point may cost you money.
The cache is a metal box about 6x6x3 inches.
