INTRODUCTION: One of the most popular puzzle games today is SU
DOKU. Although the name comes from two Japanese words
su, meaning "number," and doku,
meaning "single", the actual inventor was probably the great
Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler (1707-1783).
SOLVING:
Solving the puzzle
requires no real mathematical skills; only logic is required. The
correct solution to the puzzle will provide the clues for
determining the coordinates of the cache...a micro located in the
southeast section of the park. The cache is a stainless steel bison
tube with a log scroll inside. Be sure and bring a pen to log your
visit.
The posted coordinates get you to
the entrance of the park closest to the cache. There are
usually plenty of places to park. Please be very careful when
looking for this one and don't let anyone see you. It is in
an area that has lots of cars and foot traffic during normal
working hours. The best approach would be after business
hours and on weekends. Make sure that the cache is
properly sealed (not too tight, please) and returned to its
original position.
Solve the puzzle correctly; then,
complete the following using the row-column designated number
to find the cache coordinates:
N 36 03.[D6][H8][B1] W 80
17.[F2][I6][F9]
Note,
there are four other caches in this area: All the Kings
Horses (GCM312) and All the Kings Men (GCM3G0) by
Pirates of the Carolinas; and, Treasure Park (GCMPX9)
and How's Your Algebra? (GCNWZH) by Raven
Pop.
