Situated in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire, an easy walk with a great secret lagoon hideaway. Looks like a place Gollum would hide !!!
10/07/05 Cache has been re-located some 100yds from the original site, as muggles were abundant and cache went missing. Much better location now and hopefully safe. Please report on accuracy of co-ords, thanks.
A little gem this one.The Secret Blue Lagoon has been named due to its close proximity to a body of water not marked on many maps, and when the sun shines the water truly is a deep azure blue colour.
Approach from Clitheroe is best bet and make your way to Kemple End via Birdy Brow, once at the top of the brow the road levels and you can see pine forest all along the right hand side of the road, when you have travelled over the brow and levelled out there is an isolated farm on the left and directly opposite is the public footpath access and a small layby with metal gate about 50 yds further up, pull in here and the rest is up to the GPS and you. A small plastic container with a number of treasures. There is no theme so take what you want but please leave something in its place.
Good luck !!!!!!!
