Geocache Description:

Multicache of moderate difficulty (no bushwhacking required) that may challenge many. Parking at start. May not be appropriate for small children as it will take some time and involves some walking along a sometimes busy road. BE SAFE! Watch for muggles.

The name for the cache is suggested by several features along the way in a beautiful area of Ramsey County.

Tackle this cache when you have some time. It's roughly 1.6 miles from parking to the cache. The final cache is in a "tupperware" type container. It contains items of some value (including a gift certificate to Applebee's for FTF) and other trinkets. Some of the intermediate stages are "virtual" or puzzle chaces, some are small camouflaged containers.

Don’t miss the flora and fauna as you track Cupid. And enjoy the views.

Bring paper and pencil to take notes and to work out a puzzle or two in which you assign a numerical value to each letter of the alphabet (a=1, b=2, etc.) At two points you will be instructed to use this formula to determine the sum of the value of the letters of a designated name and add that sum to given coordinates in order to locate the waypoint for the next stage.

Stage 1: To determine the waypoint for the next stage of Cupid's Trail add the number of pillars to N 45 03.171; subtract the number of pillars from W 093 10.614. And remember, “Some Cupid kills with arrows, some with traps.” (William Shakespeare (1564-1616), Much Ado About Nothing, act 3, sc. 1, 1.106) So watch where you sit!
