Located in the Eric G Gibson Memorial Forest area off Hwy O.
No trail, some bushwacking and not far from the VFW building. Heavier tree cover could affect signal
Eric G. Gibson entered the U. S. Army during World War 2 and served as a cook. He voluntarily joined the infantry in battle and fought at Anzio Beachhead. He was killed during action near Isola Della, Italy on Jan. 28, 1944. Eric had been born in Sweden.

This cache honors our vets and our country. The various cache items are in an Americana theme--I'd like to keep it this way
