Park at the south car park N55 53.861 W003 27.267 or continue westwards and park on the road or at the pub. This cache is easily accessible from good paths but why not do Uprooted Almondell first as a circular.
I placed this cache and Uprooted to introduce those of you who haven't been here to our country park. The circular is my dog, Tara's favourite walk. Information about the park, its origins, history and wildlife are available at the Interest Centre. You can also get refreshments there. The cache is off the path a little, is a bit overgrown and can be muddy for the last few metres. I planted the cache in Spring but GPS may get a bit variable when the leaves are on the trees. It consists of a plastic container in a ziplock bag wrapped in a black bin liner. The cache contains:
2 blank cds, Angel Tin, stepometer, network card, 2 x 64MB SDRAM, coloured pencils, novelty eraser and a backpack game.
Almondell is very popular on sunny weekends so please be as discrete as possible!
