Geocache Description:

Multi access points to hike to a gorgeous desert view.
April 4, 2021
The RibEye portion of the cache seems to have failed, unless you find a "key" attached to a Saguaro Rib within 25 feet of GZ. Please log as FOUND, and if the next cacher could add a log sheet that'd be Bloomin'Fun!

For some reason, this side of the Usery Mountain Pass trail doesn't have the fantastic reputation it deserves. There are a variety of hiking options in order to obtain it. 1) Perhaps the easiest, take the Usery Pass Mountain trail from the west side and head north, until you get to this point of departure: N33* 29.641 W111* 35.757 Cache is 461 ft. off trail Usery Mountain Regional Park is open 6:00am to 8:00pm Sun-Thurs, and 10:00pm Friday and Saturday. A $5 per vehicle entry fee is required. Website: http://www.maricopa.gov/parks/usery/ 2) You will need a free BullDog Canyon Permit from the Tonto National Forest Mesa Ranger District located at 5140 E. Ingram Street, Mesa, AZ, phone (480)610-3300 Use Gate Access #2 Forest Road (RF) 3554, west entrance: This entrance is 3/4 mile north of Usery Pass Country Park. Stay on Jeep trail #3554 and park at these coords: N33* 30.142 W111* 35.819 Hike approximately 0.53 mi sometimes through the wash. If you're familiar with desert hiking, you'll enjoy this experience. 3) This cache can also be obtained by hiking approximately 4.2 miles roundtrip by parking at the northern most point of Meridian road and hiking north along the Pass Mountain trail. ***No permits or fees required from this option, and there are several caches along the way.*** The entire Pass Mountain trail is 7.1 miles long, and it circles mostly the base of the 2800 ft elevation Pass Mountain. Lots of cache swag/booty... it's stuffed in there! FINALLY: You must sign the log in order to get credit for this cache.
