This is a easy place to get to. You will have to walk a short distance along a road to get there. There is a Fish and Wildlfe sign closing the road to unauthorized vehicles.
You will have to go up Jump Off Ridge Road about 4-5 miles to reach the road going up to Harriet Bench Lookout. This is one of the last remaining Fire Lookout Towers left in the area. I do not beieve it has been used for nearly 20+ years. A sign at the tower has the Name of Longview Fibre Company Property at the base of the steps of the tower.
The cache is located about 200-250 feet away from the lookout tower.
May 12, 2007 The cache has been moved to a different tree as the previous one has been blown over. The coords for the new tree are: N47 16.547 W 120 17.323. This is not worth changing the given coords on the cache page at this time.
