Geocache Description:

The EdwardsClan's second cache is an easy offset multi that takes you a short way along the bank of the Yarra in the beautiful country town of Warrandyte.

The cache was updated in mid-2007 to take into account changes to signage made in the area by Parks Victoria. Needless to say I made it a smidgen harder - and hopefully a little more informative! ;-)

Warrandyte is associated with antimony and alluvial gold finds after a reward was offered in 1851 for the first "official" gold discoveries in Victoria. It is said that gold specks can still be panned from the creeks in Warrandyte.

At the published coordinates you should find yourself in a childrens playground near a path. Embedded in the path there are some plaques.
