Geocache Description:

located at Powell Point at the mouth of the Cousins River in South Freeport. The land is protected by the Freeport Conservation Trust.

cache is small green hanging container located at the end of the trail to Powell Point near the old cabin ruins. beautiful site looking out into Casco Bay. a bench is there for you to sit and write in the logbook, and to take in the view. to get to trailhead turn off route 1 onto South Freeport Road at the big indian. proceed 1/2 mile to lambert road on your right. drive down lambert rd. approx. 1 mile to paved turnout on left. park here and walk down road about 1/10 mile more. trail starts here on right. cache contains:toy car,playdoh,squirt gun, 4 magnets, 3 seed packets, dog ball, carabiner keychain, coleman lantern keychain, blank cassette, squackers flute, log book & pen, "bobby" travel bug.
