This has got to be the easiest webcam cache ever! Not only does the
camera have a good refresh rate, decent resolution, and is at eye
level, but it even has a screen right below it, so you can see how
the final image will look!
The webcam is at the Triangle Town Center mall in NE Raleigh, NC.
The coordinates are for the nearest entrance just past the food
court. If you enter the upstairs entrance, walk to the Welcome
Center, turn to your right, go down the escalator, and it should be
right in front of you. The Triangle Town Center is open to mall
walkers from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday through Saturday and from
10:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday. The stores themselves don't
necessarily have these same hours.
The webcam itself is in a rectangular box about 3'x3'x6'. The box
has wheels, so it may be moved about the mall. The pictures that
mall patrons have saved in the online gallery have had the same
background since 1-8-04, but BEWARE! Be sure to take
a look at the webcam site to confirm the background of the area
before you go.
To log this cache, post a picture of yourself holding up your GPS
that was taken with this camera. The most common way that you can
get your picture is to call a friend at home and have them save
your picture from the internet while you pose in front of the
camera. I haven't checked to see if this area is a wi-fi hot spot,
but if it is, you could even take your own picture with a laptop.
If anyone does this, please let me know.
Please don't log a find unless you have the right picture(s). Logs
without pictures will be deleted.

To refresh the image, click (or right-click) on it. You can't
right-click and save the image on the website like some other
webcams. Click the "save this" button on the right and then a new
window will come up with a picture that you can right-click on and
save.
