Geocache Description:

Nice easy cache. You will not need to get wet at any time to retreive this cache (unless its raining).

Mill Hill, an antebellum plantation that was a longtime gathering place of the Cabarrus elite from the early 19th century. Built by Jacob Stirewalt in 1812, a 19th century builder who constructed the original Cabarrus County Courthouse.

The original plantation dates to the 18th century, when the King of England deeded 200 acres to a Cabarrus family.

The property has since been added to the National Registry of Historic Property. The orginial house is still located at 7117 Stirewalt Road in Concord.

Once you find the cache, look over your shoulder to the white house on the hill. That house is Mill Hill.
