Accessible year-round. The posted coordinates will take to you the first stage. There are two routes. One will give you a wonderful tour of the trails in the waterworks area. The alternate route will be quicker, but still challenging.
Enjoy the trails and wildlife of the Vergennes Watershed. No longer the water supply for Vergennes; now a wonderful place to explore and appreciate. A great fat tire bike ride or snowshoe trek in the winter. This can be done as a loop, but it will take you on a longer trip if you chose that course.
I had to replace the final container because it was letting in too much water. I hope the new one is an improvement. It’s filled with lots of goodies and a camera. Please take your picture and write in the log! All caches are within 50–100 ft from the trail, so no need to bushwhack. Enjoy!
PS. I'd like to thank Spiffmeister for his wonderful CD pictures and C-Crew for posting them. But! They are full of spoilers. If you wish to do this cache on your own- look at the pictures posted under C-Crew's log AFTER you find the cache.
