Geocache Description:

Did you know that frogs were around before dinosaurs? While I'm not entirely sure that is true, this playground makes me think of it every time. I have spent countless hours with the Tadpole and my niece here, and I thought I'd give the parents something to do while the kiddies play. Keep an eye on the trees, you may see some pretty Cardinals fly by.

Please note: Be subtle in your search, and don't give it away! This should be a pretty easy find, but the difficulty of this cache is due to its location and proximity to the playground! It can be VERY busy at times!

The cache is a small camo tupperware, and contains a logbook, pencil, and a few other small froggy items. GPS was showing accuracy to 15 feet. You may want to bring your own pen, and please be subtle in signing the log! You may want to escape to another location to sign the log, if necessary.

Handy Public Transportation Info: You can take the subway and bus to this cache! Take the E, F, G, R, or V train to Forest Hills/71st Ave stop (E and F are express through Queens). From the North side of Queens Blvd, take the Q65a bus (it will go down Jewel Ave). Request a stop after the bus crosses Grand Central and the Van Wyck expressway -- you will see the park from the bus, on your right and left! Happy caching!
