Geocache Description:

This is one of the oldest parks in Joplin, Mo. The land was donated by a few of the pioneering families that helped start the town of Joplin. Joplin was located on the east side of the shallow valley that the 2nd street viaduct traverses. Murphysboro was the town on the west side. After a time of being 2 towns, they merged into one and it was called Joplin.
This park has a quaint structure that has been fashioned from rocks.
The original cache was an ammo box. It was muggled in the worse way. I have now made it a small cammo medicine bottle,(the size of a large bottle of Ibuprofen). Has room for only a log book and very small items.Bring your own pencil or pen.
