Geocache Description:

Come to Campobello Island on Saturday, July 9th, 2005, for the first ever Geocaching Event, and meet new people.

It will be held at the Herring Cove Provincial Campground. I am planning on hiding a few caches for the event only. After the event the cache will be posted online.

The event will start at 1pm and end at 4pm. I am thinking about hiding a night cache too. So maybe a fire on a beach at dusk, have some smores then, then go night caching! Please bring stuff to make your own smores.

I am going to have a geopoker run also. Can everyone bring a trading item to put in the prize bags. Thanks!

You may want to bring your FRS/GMRS as well. The official Geocaching channel is #2.

There is NO gas stations here on the island, so I would gas up before you leave the mainland.

There is 1 grocery store here, thats the Co-Op. They do have propane.

*** Please post a note saying if you will be attending. *****
