Gunstock Resort, Rt.11A, Gilford, beautiful Wetlands Boardwalk, wooden walkway, easy walk, woods and critters:)
• Gunstock Mountain
• 11A
• Go through Main entrance,follow it to the end of the paved road
• Go around the pond,and past the lodge on your left
• Pass the skate park on left
• Go through the gate and down the hill(if the gate is closed, buzz in and tell them you are here to walk the wetlands boardwalk:)
• Pass the Ski jumps on the left,and picnic area and campground on your right
• And up on the hill on the left you will see a pool
• Park across from the Pool on the right, the GPS coordinates are for the parking lot:)
• Descend down dirt path
• Follow path until you find the boardwalk,then
please follow the clues.Keep in mind, you never have to leave the boardwalk.
• Now it is time to start your real journey; think about where a mailman would go, follow that direction.
• Never mind the bumps in the road life gives you, its just another bridge you must cross.
• Sit with the man named Goggeshall and you shall receive enlightenment.
• The next feature you will come across will be the second but not the last, take a moment to ponder the mysteries of life that lie beneath.
• Don’t stop now, for you are crossing over yet another cold wet home to many small creatures that travel swiftly under you.
• Since you have water on the brain you might as well thank the spring that was built from a thousand stones and bottled for you. Have a seat and drink up.
• Back to business, what kind of room has no windows? Find the answer and you are one step closer to success.
• Now that you know what to look for I am growing all over an old dead tree to your left. You are very close now
• I am hiding next to my very old friend. You could be right on top of me if you're not careful. In fact if you know the old saying “ a rolling stone gathers no moss” you will see that my big old friend hasn’t rolled in a very long time.Don't forget, you never need to leave the boardwalk, but you may need to look hard over, around,under, and through things:)
• Now that you have discovered me, there are many other secret treasures in the woods just look under a stone or around that tree!
