Geocache Description:

The fourth in a series of five caches set in and around the lovely Coxley Valley between Netherton and Middlestown/Overton in West Yorkshire.

In the past Coxley Valley has hosted a golf course and even a holiday camp but today it is a mixture of farmland and woodland teaming with wildlife - Stoneycliffe Wood in the valley is a nature reserve owned by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.

The lanes/woods are popular with locals for dog walking; horse riding etc etc especially at the weekends, so stealth may be required at some of the cache sites. As usual the paths can be claggy in places, especially in the woods after rain, so good footwear is necessary.

This cache is on the bridleway back from the woods with views where you have been... watch the barbed wire!
