Geocache Description:

This is a series dedicated to all of our favorite little Fishin’ holes out there. These are Public Access lakes around Manitowoc County.

So often we forget about these well hidden, quaint fishing holes. Many of use, not native to the area, don’t even realize they exist. On this adventure, I would like to offer you a chance to visit, find a quick cache then sit and stay a while, to enjoy the view.It is a chance to catch a cache and catch a fish. Hope you enjoy!!! Some of these fishing areas tend to have small parking areas with few hiding spots therefore PLEASE put container back as you found it. Harpt Lake reaches a maximum depth of 49 feet. Parking for 4 car/trailer units is provided at the public access to this 20 acre lake. The lake is known for its large size walleye, large mouth bass and black crappie. Northern pike, perch, bluegill and rock bass populations are also found here. Use of motors, except for 1 hp electric motors, are prohibited. An additional boat launch ramp, fishing piers and swimming beach are located on the east side of the lake at the Larrabee Sportsman’s Club. This Cache is a Camo Film container with a log book. Please remember to bring a pen or pencil. See Web page link for map of lake.
