"Broad Fen Nightcache" is a partial nightcache because
you can find most of the data also by day, it is advised to walk
the cache by night because I made use off reflected objects which
make searching then simple to the hidden treasure. Many activities
in the field are by day practised and can tamper searching to data
and the cache, you retrieve most of the events on the Internet site
of the municipality Bornem http://www.bornem.be. Respect
nature in the Southern part of the field please. Do not use large
flashlights (beam lamps) that can swindle the complete
neighbourhood, they can betray you where the cache is hidden, the
reflected objects are as a matter of fact with a normal pocket lamp
to observe... The coordinates must be deciphered by a key.
To annual tradition in Bornem the known 100 km `DODENTOCHT' are
organised in association with ' youth house Kadee' , these have
their home base in the field. The missing data here followed can be
found on the 'Dodentocht' Internet site :
- Number of participants or entries at the
'Dodentocht' in 1987.
- Number of participants or entries at the
'Dodentocht' in 1994 and 2001.
- Number of arrived participants in
1994.
Multiply now the number of (X) participants of the years '87, '94
and '01 with each other and reduce the outcome with the number of
(Y) participants arrived in ' 94. example: (X*X*X) - y = key. You
get one figure of me, the rest you must search yourself.
(*) The excursion goes sometimes along small paths, some parts are
possibly muddy, we advise you to wear boots after rain fall. Only
once you must wade through a ditch, sometimes it is more easily to
cross the ditch a few meters further by means of a trail! read
attentively all indications and enjoy the ±4 km long walk.
Park your car at coordinates N51°05.533 E4°14.536 or N51°05.511
E4°14.133.
Goto the 1st Wp with coordinate N51°05.541 E4°14.404 and search
for Wp2.
Wp2: Search the coordinates for Wp3.
Wp3: Search the coordinates for Wp4.
Wp4: Search the coordinates for Wp5.
Wp5: Search the coordinates for Wp6(a).
Wp6(a): Look around for a dog, you'll find more data here for
Wp6(b): 'Een BOOM
(TREE) leeft' and look for the coordinates
for Wp7 there, in the meantime enjoy the birds of pray and
songbirds.
Wp7: There you find a minicache with indications for the
cache.
Hide the minicache and the cache such as you found them, i.e.
sufficiently invisible with some camouflage. Be inconspicuous with
your searching and hiding the caches . Success with your
search.
