Not far from the paved road, but harder than you'd expect.
This is a small ammunition can with a variety of small tools inside: small level, plastic clip, clock, knob, keychain, spring, bolt, pencil sharpener, compass, and can opener to start, along with the logbook and pen. Take a tool and leave a tool, and please sign the log! Plus whatever travel bugs, geocoins etc.
Parking can be found at N32-57.770, W117-07.810. Cache isn't far off the road, and trails will lead you to it. The terrain is basically flat, and if you stay on the (short) trails, no bushwhacking is needed. But one little problem: low overhanging trees at the cache site can block out the GPS signals! So you might have to make the last 35 feet or so "blind". That's why the difficulty rating is a 3 instead of a 1.5 as it ordinarily would have been.
Get as close as you can while still in the open with nothing overhead. The ask your GPS how far you are from the cache, and in what direction it lies. Then take a deep breath and go for it.
