Geocache Description:

Kätkö sijaitsee Sodankylän vanhan kirkon lähistöltä lähtevän Pappilanniemeen johtavan rantapolun (pituus n. 1 km) varrella. Mikäli et halua tai ehdi kävellä polkua voit jättää autosi vanhan pappilan pihalle koordinaatteihin
N 67° 24.517 E 026° 35.715, josta kätkölle on matkaa n. 100 m. Kätkö on löydettävissä myös talvella; tosin voit tarvita liikkumiseen polulla suksia tai lumikenkiä.

Rantapolun ja Pappilanniemen luontopolun kiertämällä voit tehdä n. 3,6 km mittaisen kävelyretken, jonka aloituspisteestä löydät Vanhan kirkon ja polun varrelta tämän kätkön lisäksi Pappilanniemen kätkön.

The cache is located by the trail (about 1 km), which starts near the old church of Sodankylä and leads to Pappilanniemi nature trail. If you don´t want or haven´t enough time to walk, you can park your car at
N 67° 24.517 E 026° 35.715; it is about 100 meters to the cache from here. The cache is winter-proof; skis or snow shoes are maybe necessary.

If you walk along the trail on the river bank to the nature trail and back to the old church (about 3,6 kms), there are two other caches too: Old Church near the starting point of trail and Pappilanniemi by the nature trail.
