Geocache Description:

Drive to the top of S. Glassy Mtn. A piedmont monadnock in Pickens County. Park at N34 54.044,W082 39.603. Follow the short trail alongside the chainlink fence. All the stages are close to this trail.

This is a six part multi-cache that is a little different than ordinary. At the first three stages you will locate and gather pieces of my geo-spyglass. All the pieces of the geo-spyglass are in PVC containers (4" PVC pipe with end caps). It is not necessary to carry the containers with you. LEAVE THEM IN THEIR HIDING SPOTS. Just remove the end cap and pull the pieces out. Look inside the end cap at each stage and you will find the coordinates for the next stage. At stage one you will find the first leg of the geo-spyglass tripod. It is leg "A". It is in two pieces. Insert A1 into A2. At stage two there will be the remaining two legs of the tripod. Marked "B". At stage three you will find the Geo-spyglass. The third stage also contains coordinates of the fourth stage, known as the "Viewing Area". Final assembly and cache locating instructions are attached to the geo-spyglass. The fifth stage is the "Focal Point". The sixth stage is the actual cache location. The cache is a plastic jar about 1/2 gallon in size. It is full of toys, FF&W pens, nailclippers, playing cards and more. While this cache may be rated five stars on difficulty no special equipment is absolutely necessary. However some things that may be helpful are, two vehicles, a cache partner, cell phones, road map, compass, camera, binoculars, and a bottle of water. We recommend that you try it without special equipment except for the bottle of water. We ask that you re-hide each container as well as you found it. And replace each piece into their respective containers. Remember that the FF&W logo (a smiley with his tongue hanging out) is near all FF&W caches. We are only going to give one hint but the hint works for all three containers. These containers are almost four feet long!! Good luck. FASTFRANK&WANDA
