Parking at Inveruglas Car Park. Be careful crossing a busy road. Good path to cache site, suitable for bikes and buggies; they would have to be lifted over an initial padlocked gate. Boots are not required.
The path follows the course of the Black Stream. The black stream is the Inveruglas water which flows from Loch Sloy and enters Loch Lomond just south of the village of Inveruglas.
In the glen you can find the remains of some shielings. They were used by the lochside people in the 17th and 18th century when taking the cattle for summer grazing. They were fattening them up for market - think burgers and pepper sauce!
If you've come this far you should continue to our War Cry cache.
