Just in case you are wondering….GUC stands for Gwinnett University Center. This name will no longer be valid at some point in the near future since this college has become accredited as a stand-alone college. I believe the new name will be Gwinnett State University (or something similar to that). Anyways, there is a nice pocket of woods behind the present campus just begging for a cache. You will see signs of deer quite frequently as you search for the cache.
Parking is suggested in Visitor Parking near the following coordinates: N33 58.855 W084 00.265. After parking, you will be in search of a trailhead that disappears into the woods. You may see a couple other trails along the way but the desired trailhead can be found at the following coordinates: N33 58.841 W084 00.374. Once you find this trailhead, you will notice the trail forks almost immediately. Be sure to bear to the right at this fork in the trail. You will be able to remain on this trail until the last couple hundred feet to the cache.
