How Geocaching Works
Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer
The Devils are having another event...and this one is set to go off with a BANG!!!
Come one and all to the event of the century. To be held just a few minutes out of the best town in the world (St Helens) on my familys property. Event will start as soon as the sun goes down with a bonfire so bring your Marshmellows.
If there is enough interest I am quite happy to take my Gas BBQ along as well for people to cook Tea on.
Once we have finished swapping our tales of caching woe the real fun will begin. Myself and Horus will be putting on a Firewoks bonanza. The fireworks show will last for around half an hour and will incorporate fountains, roman candles and all the old favourites you remember from your youth.
Due to the laws regarding fireworks nowdays this could be your kids only chance to experience an old fashioned cracker night.
Unfortunately all this comes at a cost. A very reasonable cost, but a cost none the less. This cost is purely to cover the cost of the fireworks and should be somewhere in the region of $30 per cacher group. Depending on the amount of interest we get this could be less...
This payement doesnt just include the Fireworks show though. There will be a series of small caches hidden (1 per team attending) that will hold a small amount of class one fireworks for each team to play with. Class one fireworks are readily available to the public and require no permit whatsoever.
The weekend is a long weekend (Freddy Mercurys birthday i think...)
