This cache was previously known as
"The Art
of Happiness" and was located a mere 10' from established
trails, but un-happily it was muggled after only 2
weeks. It would appear from the empty beer cans and cigarette
packs that this place is frequented by locals with lots of
free time on their hands. Too bad I didn't notice this when
placing
the first cache.
The new cache, called "Far From the Beaten
Paths" is located 250' away in what should be a relatively
secluded area. You must follow the stream southwest from the trail
to gain access to the area where the cache is now concealed. There
are no outright trails leading to the cache site, so careful
bushwhacking is required.
Alternately you can approach from the north
in the grassy area south of the pond which is itself south of the
street where the parking coordinates are given.
The cache container is a large-mouth jar
painted "army green" to better blend in with the surrounding
environment. It is located at the base of a tree facing the stream
and camo'd by sticks.
