Wistful Vista Traditional Cache
Da Bedza Brown: I am sad to see this cache need to be archived, it was one of my first, and one of my favorite scenic vistas in the Oak park area. I have moved away and can no longer maintain the cache, and from several recent logs I must assume it is no longer in place. Thank you to all who came to visit!

This cache is easy to find, but the hike is a 200ft + climb over 1/2 a mile. Easy parking at 34.10.721N 118.46.470W
inside is a log and some "rare" coins. I have replaced the tin with a slightly larger container, better suited to the wet winter I anticipate.
How you get here is up to you,
but take your time, enjoy the view.
If you stay upon the trail,
you'll come across it, on the nail.
Should you wander left or right,
watch for critters that sometimes bite!
It's steep I know, near straight up hill!
keep climbing though, march on with zeal.
Soon you'll proclaim, if you proved your will,
"good God this view is just unreal".
Any one curious about the extent of the recent fires in the Oak Park area should come up for a look. Its really frightning to see how much area was burned, and more impressive knowing what a great job the firefighters did containing it.
