The station where the music matters
Most of my caching is done in the city. So that entails a lot of
driving and/or biking. I don't think I could cache if I didn't have
local access to great music. Commercial free music - from world to
punk to electronica to jazz and all vistas in between. So this
cache shouts out to those who play great music. The coordinates
above are for just such a radio station (per GC.com rules, I cannot
state the stations call letters in the cache listing). My son,
geokilt, recently got an internship at this community radio station
and this cache is placed in celebration of that fact.
You'll have to visit the station and find its address (or visit
their fabulous website). The numerical part of the address is ABC.
At the station parking lot there is a large single letter on the
wall facing the lot. Convert this to a number (A=1, B=2, etc.).

latitude: N 47 37.(ABC+14) longitude: W 122 20.500+((D+2)*11-2)
The cache is within 1000 feet of the station.
CAUTION: This is an extreme muggle environment, hence the 3 stars.
In fact I had to wait 45 mintues before placing the cache to be
sure no one saw me. Please use extreme stealth and patience when
retrieving and replacing the cache or this one won't last long.
This would be easiest to do in the evening or very early morning. I
will adjust the difficulty rating based on user feedback. Also, if
your coordinates differ from mine, please post them. The cache is a
small tin with room for small items. There was a bison capsule
inside for the FTF (Congrats to OldBaldEagle for being an early
bird and narrowly edging out nevcowpok and poodleranch).
NOTE added 7/17/05. The cache has been moved back to its original
location. It is now a bson capsule. Difficulty upped to 3 stars
again because of the muggle problem. Good luck!
