There is a marked hiking trail between these two caches on the Austrian side and an unmarked path on the slovenian side. There is a fence running along the border for most parts, yet it is only a cattle fence and not a border fence and there are several places to cross it, without having to climb over it (which is no problem, though).
Both caches can be found within two hours (including return). The border can be freely crossed, but should have your passport with you. One inn is along the path between the caches and and one is near the Austrian cache. So there in enough reason to have a break. You can park near both caches, if you come from Slovenia Remšnik.si might be easier to reach by car (there is a border checkpoint nearby)
This cache is a film canister less than one meter away from the border on Austrian territory containing a logbook and a very small pencil (please bring your own). If you would like to trade, or leave a TravelBug, you can do so at Remšnik.si. There is no need to cross the fence (from either side).
