Geocache Description:

NO NEED TO VISIT NATIONAL DEFENCE'S LEITRIM STATION. THERE IS NO TAG THERE. Otherwise, a short hike through an old very overgrown trail. Then a dash between pines to the cache. Muddy after a rain, and some risk of a soaker. Unlikely to encounter any muggles, but lots of skeeters.

The cache is not at the posted location. The coordinates are of our neighbour who at one time had keen eyes, but now is all “ears”. For more info on the neighbour, click here. This is my second “Keen Eyes” cache and uses pictures of communications equipment taken while overseas. Keen eyes will find all the differences in the pictures below to find the cache location. At the cache site there is nothing of interest except for many culex pipiens or perhaps they were aedes vexans. Only those with very keen eyes can tell the difference. I don't know what kind they were, but they definitely liked Hutts.

Step 1: Study the pictures below. There are visible differences between the two pictures. Count the number of differences for the two and write them down. The pictures have been tested at their current resolution of about 600x400. Keep it simple and count all differences to an object or specific area as only one difference.

Camp A (This one is harder)

Number of differences between the two Camp A pictures: X = _______

Camp B (This one is easier)

Number of differences between the two Camp B pictures: Y=________

Step 2: Go to waypoint 2 (N45°20.679’ W75°34.839’) where you will find a 5 digit number on a yellow tag. Assume the number has a decimal after the second digit. Write it down as AB.CDE’.
June 2018 Update: The tag may have changed. Subtract 44.235 from the tag number.

Worksheet and Calculation Area

AB.CDE = ___________
X = _____
Y = _____
Z = X + Y = _____

Substitute the numbers in the simple addition equation below to obtain the cache location.

Lat. Long.
Add AB.CDE' AB.CDE'
To N45°0Y.37Z' W75°1Z.XYZ’
Equals ------------- -------------
Cache N45°??.???' W75°??.???'

Extra Step: If you don’t have keen eyes or an excellant monitor, then the digital root of (2 * X) + Y is vguvaxsbhe. Otherwise you could go buy that new monitor or printer that is on sale.

Cache description and initial contents: Medium sized plastic container (5” diameter x 6” depth). The contents are of a general military theme with a first to find "certificate", a CD about military equipment, and a few things for the kids or the inner child within (see Initial Cache Contents).

PLEASE do not include spoilers in your logs. Logs with spoilers will be deleted immediately. If you believe there are problems with the cache setup, please advise me privately by e-mail so that I may fix them if necessary.
