Geocache Description:

Parking is at N43 01.412 W082 43.952 The entrance is defined by a cattle-gate and a few signs tucked away behind some tree branches.

This is the "William and Alice Brennan Memorial Nature Sanctuary", the land is set aside to preserve it from development and provide habitat for Michigan’s native and unfortunately invasive flora and fauna. The area consists of three pine plantations, two fields, one pasture, and a swale. The fields and pasture areas are now overgrown with thirty years of brush and secondary growth, and the swale is now controlled by beaver. Follow the trails when possible as some of the terrain within the area will frustrate even well seasoned woods people. After parking follow the trail straight back until you reach the dedication area of the memorial, this will be indicated by a sign and a run down bulletin board describing the area. Private property lines both sides of the trail up to that point. There are trails throughout the sanctuary and most are marked with engineering tape. Enjoy the hunt.
