Can you find the “Lost Wahweap Treasure?” You can do this the hard way or the easy way. If your up for a challenge, don’t use your GPS. From Stateline boat ramp head NE across the bay and locate the X , high on the sand stone wall. This cache is an ammo box
Located at the high water mark, it will take good eyes and a little imagination to spot the natural X high above the cache on the sandstone wall. The wall faces SE and it may be easier to spot the X in the afternoon when the sun isn’t shinning directly on the wall. Directly below the X, in an obvious location is the cache. See pictures for additional hints. Since the cache is placed at the high water mark, some climbing is involved. The easiest way up is to walk past the cache, then start the climb. This cache contains FM radio, Tape measure, Crayons, Small wind chime, Israel small ball, High bounce ball, Pencils with erasers and some kids rings.
