It Just Ain't Natural Multi-Cache
lameduck: After Mrs SamtheSoccerDog reported to me that there seemed to be a problem here I have finally gotten out in the woods to check things out. As Joni Mitchell says "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot." Part of the trail and forest that contained a stage for this cache are now under pavement. I decided to collect the other stages rather than rework the missing stage. This opens the area up now for more new caches.

Cache is located in Harwinton Conservation Area. There are trails that criss cross the whole area.
This is a multistage cache that should give you a pretty good idea of what trails are available in the Harwinton Recreation Area. Park at 41 46.143N 073 04.054W This area is open dawn to dusk. Overall length of the hike is about 2 miles though that may depend on which routes you take. Intermediate cache stages are designed to blend in. Final stage cache is a 1.5 gallon tupperware container stocked with a log book and pencils and a few trade items. The cache items include a package of permanent markers, pack of colored pencils, compass, stapler, bungee cords, & a flashlight. It might be possible to complete this cache in an hour but if you do you will have missed all the very nice areas you are passing through.
