Geocache Description:

Trail is old railroad bed not used in many many years

This cache is a ammo box. It is located in maplewood PA. It contains many goodies mostly for children from kids watches to water balloons. There are salamanders along the way. The hike is 1 mile in and 1 mile out. It is located on state game lands so wear orange during hunting seasons. Also beaware of scavengers while passing the deer pit. GPS was spotty at times during the walk and at times 20 feet off while on top of cache. Cache is 40 ft. off trail.
Parking Coords. N 41 25.982 W075 25.982 parking is across from state game lands gate in. Bikes are allowed. To get to location take 84 and get off Mt.Cobb exit and turn right on 348. 1/2 mile turn onto cortez rd. approx 4.5 miles turn onto Maplewood Rd. which will then become Lake Henry rd. Turn onto Bob Black road it is not far from maplewood firehall. Use parking Coords to find parking spot. While you are here you might want to check out turtle trail .9 miles away.
