This cache has been archived.

Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

Over the river and through the woods to grandmother's cache we go.

Okay, this hunt will require a little bit of nature trail hiking. Not much though, but wear your tennies. This cache is located on a very mild hiking trail in Claremont. It is well known and traveled by many. You will cross a small stream and head up current. Watch your step as there are small baby frogs and toads that look like stones until they jump before your feet. Try not to hurt them as frogs are my favorite animal!!! Be respectful of the site and enjoy it for future trail hikes. If you like, follow the dirt trail farther back into nature's showcase. You will find this a very relaxing place... the sounds are great! Oh, and the surrounding foliage does have thorns, be careful where you reach.

Oh and the FTF will get a real laugh out of this "calling" device from back when. Yup, this is what they used to look like. Remember?

BRING YOUR OWN WRITING INSTRUMENT. THE ORIGINAL ONE GOT STOLEN!!!
