Geocache Description:

Pikeville has a rich history of baseball. Many years ago, Pikeville boasted of a farm team for the Chicago Cubs.

Some of the players to have played nearby include Greg Maddux, Darryl Strawberry, and Johnnie LeMaster.

The cache is located where the future stars train at the little league baseball fields near the Bob Amos Park and the Pikeville Area Family YMCA
