A little off the beaten path, but very easy.
This easy to get to has a spectacular view of the southern Black Hills. It overlooks Wind Cave National Park south to Battle Mountain near Hot Springs and the prairies beyond, on clear days you can see the Badlands.
Best access is off of the Argyle Rd (go north on US 385 and turn west 2 miles north of Hot Springs on Fall River rd 18. As you cross into Custer CO. the Argyle rd number changes to Custer Co # 333. Turn right on FS rd 682 which is called Song Dog Drive. To find this cache from the other direction take US HWY 89 from Pringle south for 1.6 miles turning left at on Song Dog Drive that is FS rd 682.1. Keep driving on the road. You will pass a sign that says, "Entering Burn Area." Keep driving straight. You will be on Shirt Tail Canyon Road and then back on Song Dog Drive.
Note that if you continue down FS rd. 682 you will come to the turn for Coyote Watch Cache That road is FS rd 682. IC. Then go on FS rd 682 1D. This road becomes a little rough but is passable in a car as long as its dry. I would recommend a 4 wheel drive to get there.
