This cache is located on a great local walking path (trail). Park at N42.55.619 W073.14.357 Take path for a few hundred yards and take the trail to the right. Wonderful plant & animal life. We stopped on the way out to watch a huge woodpecker.
There is no need to bushwack until you get 50 (or so) feet from the cache.
Also in the area is Cz's Attack of the Bennington Micros Chapter 3 cache (within walking distance).
We placed this cache to celebrate our 47th find.
We have really enjoyed putting faces to the caching names, and greatly appreciated the Albany Area Photo Album cache. We thought Bennington could use one, too.
There is a photo album in this cache. When you visit this cache bring with you a photo of you or your geocaching team. On the face of the photo, in the corner or somewhere out of the way, put your name or team name then place it in the album. The album will accommodate up to a 4 X 6 photo.
There is also some basic swag in the cache.
Please replace as you've found it. And make sure lid is on tightly.
On 12.14.05, we hid another cache ("The Champ") on the same trail, "Short Aldrich" although you must go through town to reach the other leg of the trail.

07.31.06 THIS CACHE IS INDEED MISSING. SINCE WE'VE HAD 3 OF OUR CACHES GO MISSING IN ONE MONTH, WE'RE LIKELY NOT HIDING ANY MORE CACHES AS THERE IS CLEARLY SOME SORT OF CONSPIRACY GOING ON.
