This event cache is situated at Harford bridge holiday park in Peter Tavy on the west side of Dartmoor national park and will take place on the 23rd & 24th july.
Tavistock is a small market town just a few miles down the road with supermarkets and nice riverside walks.
The Peter Tavy pub is just up the road which has a beer garden and allows children and dogs.
There are at least 50 caches on the moors here with a wide variation of terrain and some stunning walks and views.I will be asking a few of the local cachers to set a few new ones for the day so there will be a few ftf's.
Camping for general pitches are £11.75 per night for two adults and a car and there are no riverside pitches left.Please could anyone who would like to attend the event phone or book online as soon as you can,the earlier you book the better the chance of getting a pitch and quote my name or you are a geocacher and they will try to keep us in a group.
Note for cache setters:
Caches for the event should be created and submitted in the usual way, but when submitting them, please add a comment to the reviewer that the cache is to be made live on the evening of the 24th july. They will be reviewed in the usual way and will have to meet Geocaching guidelines. They should not be made available before the event, so only event attendees get to see them first.
