This is a small film box hidden some where within this area..
So please take a pen with you.

I've driven past this spot a hundred times and never really took any notice of this building until a work mate told me what it was a bear pit.

This bear pit was built in 1840 as part of Leeds Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Bears where exhibited in the circular pit and viewed from the turrets you can see the pit by looking through the front gates.

The Leeds Civic Trust restored this bear pit in the 60s.
