Read the Instructions! Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Prime Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

Multistage cache in south Austin park.

We won this cache container and initial contents at a silent auction at the 2005 Texas Challenge (or Challange, if you prefer). It was made by RobAndKids. Because it is a multistage container, we thought it should be part of a multistage cache. Both legs are within the same park.

We recommend parking at N30 09.370, W97 48.752. If you’re doing the other caches in this park too, it might make more sense to park at N30 09.767, W97 48.465, but the walk will be longer from there.

Important instructions - PLEASE READ:

1. Move each container to a relatively clear spot before opening it. This advice should be followed for both the redirector and the final cache container, as both will require some space to unpack.

2. Do not take anything away from the (first) redirector container, or leave anything additional there. Repack it exactly as you found it. Please be sure the seal is tight.

3. The log book is in the largest section of the final cache container. You should definitely check out the entire thing, though.

The redirector you are looking for is a cylinder, about 7 inches long and 2-3 inches in diameter. The final container is pictured here.

The tree cover in this park is such that the GPS accuracy may not be stellar. Watch out for leaves of three.
