This is the bonus cache for my Survivor Puzzle series. The posted coordinates are not the actual location of the cache. In order to find the actual coordinates you must visit the first four caches in the series (listed below), collect information from each, and solve a puzzle. I got the idea for this puzzle from the Survivor Palau television series on CBS in 2005.

Here are instructions for finding the bonus cache:
1. Visit the first four caches in the series, as listed above. In each cache you will find a grid of letters like those used for word search puzzles. Either take one of the small sheets if there are any left, or copy down the puzzle shown in the log book or log sheet.
2. Assemble the four pieces into a square to form a word search puzzle, like those you might find in a newspaper or puzzle book. You will have to figure out the proper position for each of the four pieces.
3. Trace around the following words in the grid:

FIND PARK
GPS ROCK
GRAB SATELLITE
HIDE THORNS
HIKE TRADE
HUNT TRAIL
LEFT TREE
Note: Do not use the word "LOG" inside "LOGBOOK"
4. Anywhere you see two words intersect, circle the letter that is common between the two words.
5. After you have found all the intersections, write down all the letters you have circled at the intersections. Unscramble these letters into a sentence related to geocaching. Note: For proper spelling, there would be an apostrophe (') in the sentence, but this will be ignored.
6. Convert each letter in the sentence to a number using the following key. The last letter of the sentence will not be used.

7. Carefully match the resulting numbers, in order, to the following pattern of X's to get the final coordinates of the bonus cache. The coordinates are north latitude, then west longitude. You may verify the final coordinates with me by email before you go after it.

8. If you manage to find the bonus cache container without finding the four previous caches, or without solving the puzzle, you may log the find provided you tell me exactly how you did it.
