About halfway along the road from Goodsprings to Sandy Valley, there's a wood post which marks the canyon. Then follow your nose for a while along the dirt road. Eventually you'll have to do a bit of climbing up towards the only barrel cactus in the vicinity. Good luck!
From recent info received from Popeye & Mermaid's helper, Julie, it looks as though the Barrel Cactus has gone, after recent fires in the area. However the cache is still ok, and is unharmed.
Plastic box containing - Incense sticks, cactus seeds, meditation book, disposable camera, book marker, eye mask, metal book mark, Cirque du Soleil lanyard, Newcastle United Badge, Newcastle Brown Ale Badge, UK coins, Wooden Lizard.
After finding the cache you can get a nice snack at the DustDevil Pizza House in Sandy Valley.
