Geocache Description:

Toad Hotel and Spring

This cache is placed near the trail but the really cool stuff is over by the river. A bat house and tons of toads in the mud on the bank of the river. Oh, and don't forget the sunken ship.
I placed this cache while searching for the spring along this trail. The spring can be found about 1/4 mile south of this cache near coordinates N43 09.955 W88 20.955. And yes, they both end with .955. What is the chance of that happening? The tree cover was pretty heavy so I was having a hard time getting a GPS signal, so I moved down the trail a ways until I was able to get coordinates. (I think it is best to geocache in the winter time, because of all those darn summer leaves.)
The spring is on the west side of the trail about 30-50 feet. You will see a very small stream of water flowing down hill, and its source is just the side of the hill. You don't see that very often.
This cache is about 2 inches in diameter and 4 inches tall. It contains a log sheet and a pencil.
And one more thing. This trail has more Jack-in-the-Pulpits than I have ever seen before.

Trail heads are at:
North of Toad Hotel at the intersection of Hwy K and Hwy Q.
South of Toad Hotel, east of Hwy E about a quarter of a mile on Funk Road.
